Michelle Kahn, MD

Dr. Michelle A. Kahn (formerly Schwartz) is an accomplished dermatologist based in New York City with expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, high quality, and evidence-based dermatologic care to her patients.

Education:
Dr. Kahn graduated Summa Cum Laude from Barnard College, and was inducted into the distinguished Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Prior to starting medical school, Dr. Kahn completed a prestigious imaging fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai under the mentorship of Dr. Orit Markowitz. Dr. Kahn received her medical degree with distinction in research from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society. She completed her medicine internship at Mount Sinai hospital and her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate, where she held the position of Chief Resident.

Research and Awards:
Dr. Kahn has presented her research at numerous national dermatology conferences and has multiple publications in high impact, peer-reviewed journals. She was awarded the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons as well as the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery preceptorship scholarships. Dr. Kahn is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Philosophy and Personal Interests:
Dr. Kahn is committed to providing personalized care tailored to her patients to help them feel more confident and comfortable within their own skin. She possesses extensive training across all skin types and ages, and effectively treats a wide array of skin, hair, and nail conditions.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Kahn enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and fluffy cavapoo. She enjoys watching Oscar nominated films and the occasional Hallmark movie.
